Autumn Travel is a Blackburn based company providing holiday tours with an emphasis on service levels and the safety of its coaches. The company specialises in complete tour packages including accomodation and travel.
With support from the DDU and its Eureka funding they have developed a complete management system for their tour operations. The system manages all the information needs of the business and is being used to calculate tour routes, allocate bookings, book hotels, invoice customers, plan drivers, and just about every aspect required to run the business. The system also allows secure remote access for places such as tourist information and will allow the staff to book customers on tours directly.

Formed in October 2004 Axiom Imports Limited supplies professional procurement services to the engineering sector, through project management, specialist parts sourcing and multiple discipline manufacturing.
Into their third year the directors started to become concerned in their sub contractors ability to service their requirements and investigated the prospect of providing more services in house..
Their current CNC equipment has the capability of manufacturing this type of work but most parts needed to be programmed offline using 3 dimensional software. The company needed to purchase this specialised software to enable this strategic move to go ahead. The DDU had been working with the company to determine how best this might be achieved. The company decided to commission OneCNC UK to customise and implement XR3 Mill Advantage to suit Axiom’s own particular requirements. Eureka provided financial support to enable this to progress.
