The Northwest Development Agency (NWDA) and Business Link Northwest have recently streamlined their services to the region's businesses to help you through the current economic conditions.
Arthur Padgett & Sons are a long-established successful family-run plumbing business based in Nelson. The company is in its third generation of Padgetts and have expanded the business considerably over recent years. They are forward looking, having invested in computer systems for the office to give better control. They turned to the DDU for help in two areas – an up to date web presence with two websites and also a diary / database system with integration to their accounting system.
Unistage of Blackburn, manufacture portable staging products targeted at the education and leisure market. The portable modules can create flat or multilevel stages or tiering for audiences. In response to a request from Nottingham County Council, Unistage have just completed an innovative design for two configurations of school study desks with adjustable glide feet. The DDU assisted with support towards the cost of the testing.
