Howard and Co Chartered Accountants are a long established firm in the centre of Blackburn who provide taxation, accountancy, and business advice services to small companies in the region. The company is currently undergoing a technology review and has highlighted several areas where business performance could be improved with technology and infrastructure changes. A key area highlighted was the lack of an online presence and an increasing need for marketing. The client realised a website would provide an opportunity to provide information for current clients and potential to generate new clients. A well designed and search engine friendly website would stand an excellent chance of generating traffic in this market place as current competition is limited.
The DDU has assisted this project by providing advice on setting up and running a professional promotional website. The site is content managed, industry specific and provides up to date accountancy information and news from a centralised and reputable source.
