Here’s a great idea – come along and meet your local innovation network
A free networking event aimed at bringing together the “players” in the innovative and increasingly successful business community throughout Pennine Lancashire.
The focus of the day will be on innovation:
• new ideas,
• new products,
• new ways of doing things,
• new goods/services,
• new views of the future
• new approaches by local Government
• new initiatives aimed at helping and supporting people with new ideas.

Long established body repair centre T.Gillibrand have drawn on help from the Digital Development Unit to implement a new paint spraying process which improves efficiency and reduces energy.
BMX shop rides online market
Local startup business The Cellblock have just launched their website with support from the Digital Development Unit. The business specialises in selling BMX and skate equipment and is looking to reach its buyers via an online shop and community site.
Management system shapes fabrication business
Blackburn fabrication business Inox have implemented a management control system that will improve their work methods and create a foundation for business growth. This project has been assisted with close support from the Digital Development Unit.
Blackburn Business Net website
Blackburn Business Net Directory
The Blackburn Business Net website has a business to business enquiry tool that is driven by a large database of Blackburn with Darwen companies. The free tool enables you to search the business directory on "Line of Business", "Company Name" and "Address" and then allows a single email enquiry to be sent selected companies from the search results. To take advantage of this tool or to register your company free in the database visit the Directory at Blackburn Business Net.
