This event is intended to help web site owners and operators identify why high website traffic may not convert directly into enquiries or sales.
We will discuss how to measure the “footfall” to conversion ratio, the difference between hits and genuine visits and the little do's and don'ts which can make a big difference. We’ll also be giving you a round-up of some of the free online tools you can use to determine the health of your website and generate a checklist of improvements.

A1 wing mirrors gets online
The Digital Development Unit has helped a Blackburn based startup business to develop an ecommerce website. A1 Wing Mirrors is a new business specialising in the sale of automotive wing mirrors to the trade and retail market and aiming at the body shop and car enthusiast market.
Fly 360 website takes off with help from DDU
Fly 360 is a holiday and business travel agency based in Blackburn. Having worked hard for over a year to establish the business with active marketing campaigns they approached the Digital Development Unit for help developing the marketing strategy further with the introduction of on-line capabilities as the company is expected to be able to generate considerable business from the self-service purchase clients driven to the web site from the Teletext, DRTV and SkyText campaigns.

The Blackburn Business Net website has a business to business enquiry tool that is driven by a large database of Blackburn with Darwen companies. The free tool enables you to search the business directory on "Line of Business", "Company Name" and "Address" and then allows a single email enquiry to be sent selected companies from the search results.
