Induction

When a new member of staff starts working for any organisation, it is important that they are given the right induction that will benefit themselves and the organisation. The induction period can be considered the foundation for extracting the most from the employee and determine long term success.

An induction should start at the beginning of employment and in some cases can last for several weeks. The quality of the induction will have an effect on how the employee perceives the organisation and how well they integrate into it.

While an organisation is under no legal obligation to carry out on induction process, an induction program is critical as without one the employee is left to pick things up themselves from existing employees which costs time and money.

Further information on inductions can be found online
