The North West is fast becoming a hub for energy from waste activities in the UK with many large scale facilities planned and in construction phases.

Over the coming years it is estimated that the region could have the capacity to thermally treat 4 million plus tonnes of waste per year. This generates the question,‘what about the leftovers?’
The aim of this event is to provide a background to the current status of EfW and EfW projects in the North West and demonstrate opportunities to maximise resource recovery at EfW facilities.
